Information We Collect

Account information

When you create or use a 17Hieng Account, we may store your account identifier, display name, email address, profile photo, email verification status, sign-in provider, account creation date, and recent sign-in information.

Content and service data

Depending on the services you use, we may store information you create or upload, including:

• Trips, itineraries, budgets, expenses, preferences, and reminders
• Travel documents, attachment metadata, and uploaded files
• Shared-trip membership, roles, and collaboration information
• Feature requests, bug reports, and information you submit to support

Device-local data

Some preferences, exports, calculators, games, and offline tool data may remain only in your browser or on your device. Device-local data is not available to 17Hieng unless you choose to submit, upload, synchronize, or share it through a connected feature.

Technical and usage information

Our hosting, authentication, security, advertising, and infrastructure providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser or device type, operating system, request time, authentication events, error information, and security logs.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Create, authenticate, secure, and manage your 17Hieng Account
• Provide synchronization, sharing, exports, backups, and connected-service features
• Operate and improve 17Hieng services, including Rancang
• Respond to support requests and communicate important service information
• Detect abuse, protect users, prevent fraud, and maintain system reliability
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

Authentication and Connected Providers

You may sign in using email and password or a supported third-party provider, such as Google or Apple. The provider may share basic account information with us according to the permissions you approve. Authentication is currently provided through Google Firebase Authentication.

Server Storage and Infrastructure

Account and connected-service data may be stored using Google Firebase services, including Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and Hosting. Data may be processed in locations where Google or its service providers operate, subject to their security and privacy commitments.

Advertising and Third-Party Services

Some 17Hieng websites or applications may display advertising through Google AdSense or Google AdMob. These services may process device identifiers, IP address, ad interactions, and similar information to deliver, measure, and protect advertising. On supported devices, you can manage advertising or tracking permissions through your device settings.

Our services may link to or integrate with third-party services. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share or allow processing of information:

• With infrastructure, authentication, advertising, and service providers that help operate our services
• With people you choose to collaborate or share content with
• When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security
• As part of a business transfer, subject to appropriate protections and notice where required

Shared Content

When you join or create shared trips or other collaborative content, selected information may be visible to other members. If you delete your account, your membership and personal access are removed. Shared content may remain available to other members, and ownership responsibilities may transfer to another member where necessary to preserve their content.

Data Retention

We retain account and service data while your account is active or as needed to provide the services. After deletion, we remove account data and user-owned server records through our deletion process. Limited deletion-event, security, fraud-prevention, legal, or operational records may be retained where reasonably necessary. Backup copies may take additional time to expire.

Account Deletion

You can delete your 17Hieng Account directly from 17Hieng Account > Account Actions > Delete Account. The process requires a recent authenticated session and explicit confirmation. It removes your authentication account, user-owned server data, uploaded files, and access to connected 17Hieng services, including Rancang.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal information. The 17Hieng Account page provides data-export and account-deletion controls. You may also manage device-local information through your browser or device settings and manage third-party sign-in access through the relevant provider.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including authenticated access, managed cloud infrastructure, session controls, and deletion safeguards. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

17Hieng services are not directed to children who cannot legally consent to data processing in their location. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review and remove it where required.

International Processing

Your information may be processed outside your country or region. Where required, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards for international transfers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, data practices, or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised policy and update the date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the applicable service.
