- Plan a real lunch break. Children usually get more from the afternoon when food, water and a quiet reset are part of the plan rather than an emergency stop.
- Return before the evening traffic builds. Keep dinner flexible near the hotel and avoid a tight cross-city reservation after the attraction.
Make the route weather-proof
Mix indoor time with outdoor areas, pack sun and rain protection, and keep one mall or café option as the fallback. Do not stack a second distant attraction just because it appears close on the map.

Stay near JB Sentral for an easier first and last day, then use a direct ride for Iskandar Puteri. If the whole trip is built around the western city, compare the extra hotel cost with the time saved on transfers.
