Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Rancang, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Rancang. These Terms work together with the Rancang Privacy Policy and any App Store terms that apply to your download, purchase, or subscription.

2. Who We Are

3. Rancang Features

Rancang provides travel planning tools, expense tracking, bill splitting, document organization, checklist reminders, widgets, Live Activities, currency information, export tools, maps, and related features. Features may change, be added, or be removed over time. Some features may require internet access, third-party services, device permissions, or an active Rancang Plus subscription.

4. User Responsibility

You are responsible for checking all information before relying on it, including expense totals, bill splits, travel documents, ticket details, checklist reminders, currency conversions, summaries, widgets, Live Activities, and exported files. Rancang is a planning tool and should not be your only source for important travel, financial, legal, safety, visa, or insurance decisions.

5. No Professional Advice

Rancang does not provide financial, legal, accounting, tax, travel, visa, safety, medical, or insurance advice. Currency rates, spending summaries, document summaries, OCR results, AI-generated outputs, and other app information are provided for convenience and general information only.

6. User Content

You are responsible for any photos, receipts, documents, notes, tickets, trip information, bill split data, participant information, settlement records, and other content you add to Rancang. You must have the right to store, process, and share that content. You must not add unlawful, harmful, infringing, abusive, or malware-containing content.

7. Acceptable Use and Anti-Abuse

You must not misuse Rancang or its related services. This includes, without limitation, spamming, automating excessive requests, scraping, overloading, reverse engineering, bypassing rate limits or security controls, attacking Firebase or API endpoints, abusing AI, OCR, document processing, export, or sync features, uploading malware, attempting unauthorized access, or using Rancang for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive activity.

8. Rate Limits and Suspension

We may throttle, limit, block, suspend, or terminate access by account, device, IP address, App Check token, subscription state, or other identifiers if we suspect abuse, excessive use, fraud, server harm, legal risk, security risk, or violation of these Terms. We may also limit specific features to protect Rancang, users, third-party services, or infrastructure.

9. Rancang Plus

Rancang Plus subscriptions are offered, billed, renewed, cancelled, refunded, and managed through Apple StoreKit and the App Store. Auto-renewal, cancellation, refund eligibility, billing issues, and subscription management are handled by Apple under Apple's App Store terms. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID or App Store subscription settings.

Rancang receives subscription, product, transaction, and entitlement information needed to unlock Rancang Plus features, hide ads for subscribers, and restore purchases. Access to paid features may change or end if Apple reports that an entitlement is inactive, expired, refunded, revoked, or otherwise unavailable.

10. Third-Party Services

Rancang may use or integrate with third-party services, including Apple StoreKit and the App Store, Firebase and Google services, Google AdMob and Google's consent SDK, exchange-rate services, AI, OCR, or document intelligence services, Apple Maps and geocoding, iOS widgets, Live Activities, and other platform services. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party outages, errors, pricing, decisions, availability, or data handling practices.

11. Server and API Availability

Rancang and related server/API services are provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uptime, exchange-rate availability, AI or OCR success, sync availability, export generation, notification delivery, widget or Live Activity freshness, purchase validation availability, Firebase availability, or third-party service availability.

12. No Compensation for Loss

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for compensation or reimbursement for lost trips, expenses, documents, exports, currency conversion errors, missed reminders, travel disruption, server downtime, data loss, failed purchase validation, third-party outages, or business, financial, personal, or travel-related losses.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Magebite Technology, 17Hieng, and Rancang will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost travel opportunities, business interruption, or losses caused by reliance on app information or third-party services.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for claims relating to Rancang will be limited to the amount you paid for Rancang Plus during the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater, unless a different limit is required by law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to cover reasonable claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of Rancang, unlawful or infringing content, server abuse, API spam, fraud, violation of these Terms, or violation of another person's rights, to the extent allowed by law.

15. Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or remove access to Rancang or related services if we believe there is abuse, fraud, excessive server usage, legal risk, security risk, unpaid or inactive entitlement, or a violation of these Terms. You may stop using Rancang at any time.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as Rancang changes or legal requirements evolve. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. Continuing to use Rancang after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
